LADIES ACHIEVING DREAMS WITH DEDICATION, ENTHUSIASM, AND RESPECT
Established November 6, 2015, Ladies Achieving Dreams with Dedication, Enthusiasm, and Respect, as an interactive camp that exposes high school girls to a career in the fire service was founded by Tameji R. Berry, Assistant Fire Chief, Dallas Fire-Rescue Department. Chief Berry began to develop the training program before the camp's inaugural year the fall of 2015 and wanted to ensure that all facets of the fire service were incorporated and emphasized fire prevention education and inspection. Camp L.A.D.D.E.R. is the only training program of its kind that offers fire prevention education, home fire inspection, and fire investigative skills.
